Terms and Conditions

The Oceanana is a non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping is only allowed in designated smoking areas in our parking lots. Smoking or Vaping is NOT ALLOWED in our rooms, hallways, breezeways, breakfast areas, pool area, oceanfront lawn and any other common areas. We charge a $250 cleaning fee if we discover evidence that someone has been smoking in our rooms.

For the purpose of room charges, guests ages 15 and under are considered children. Guests ages 16 and over are considered Adults.

All reservations require a credit card for us to hold the room for you. We will charge the card on file for the first night of the stay (room + taxes) 48 hours prior to check in. Unsuccessful charges will result in the cancellation of the reservation.

You may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time 3 days before arrival. For example, if you have booked a Friday arrival cancellation must be made before 11:59 PM on Tuesday. Please note that we will not refund your deposit, equal to one-night's room rate, if cancelled after the allowed cancellation date and time.

Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:30 AM.

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a room. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire stay.

Guests are not allowed to have unregistered visitors. All members of a party, including children, must be registered.

Weapons are not to be worn, concealed or unconcealed, on motel property. Please leave weapons secured in your automobile.

We do not allow pets, Emotional Support Animals, or Therapy Animals. Per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Service Dogs are allowed. Any guest with an animal behaving inappropriately as defined by the ADA will be asked to leave and may be charged damage fees.

Guests are provided complimentary passes to our fishing pier in the spring (before Memorial Day Weekend) and in the fall (after Labor Day). Complimentary passes are not provided between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day. It is prohibited to clean fish in your motel room; a cleaning charge of $250 will be applied if this rule is broken.

We provide a complimentary continental breakfast in our covered outdoor breakfast area from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Breakfast is not provided in the spring (before Memorial Day Weekend) or the fall (after Labor Day).

SMS and Text Messaging Privacy Policy
We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive text messages from the property.

Purpose:
Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.


Opt-Out:
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying

STOP
to any message you receive. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.

Privacy of Mobile Data:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
